Restaurants in Exton, PA

xton
is blessed with an abundance of restaurants and you are sure to find something
to tempt your taste buds: Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Vietnamese, family
owned or chain, we've got it all here!
The
Ship Inn - one of my favorite restaurants
in Chester county, this historic inn is sure to please with it's crab
quesadillas, delicious fried calamari and succulent scallops. Located
at the intersection of Ship Road and Route 30, the Ship Inn has been serving
travelers and locals alike since 1796. This is the original building built
by John Bowen in that year, which served weary travelers along the then
Lancaster Turnpike. An original turnpike marker is on display inside the
inn. Service here is outstanding and during the warmer months, dining
outside is delightful. The menu selections can change monthly, and don't
forget to try dessert! Click on our link to the Ship Inn to check out
their menu, prices and hours. 610-363-7200.
China
King- located at 216 North Pottstown Pike, China King's chef
Eddie Yu serves up some of the finest Chinese food in the region. The
Lo Mein is superb as are the pan fried spicy meat dumplings. Their General
Tso's Chicken is the best I've ever had. Voted as the best Chinese restaurant
in 2003's Best of Chester County Dinning Poll, you won't be disappointed.
This is a BYOB establishment and take out is available. Check out their
website to view their menu. 610-524-8888.
The
Green Papaya - Exton is truly lucky to have such a fine Vietnamese
restaurant located in town. From crispy tangerine duck to spicy beef sautéed
with lemongrass, there is something to suit everyone's taste- even if
you have never tried Vietnamese cuisine before. This is a "must try"
when you're in town. Located at 290 E. Lincoln Highway, this is a BYOB
establishment. Take out is also available. 610-280-3588.
The
Drafting Room - is a favorite meeting place for friends after
work, with it's delicious food and extensive beer menu, be forewarned
this place can get a little crowded on a Friday evening. What can you
find on tap? How does Cricket Hill East Coast Lager sound- or how about
Long Trail Belgian White? You will not believe the selection of beers.
I love their Crispy Asian Shrimp and Drunken Ribeye Steak from their dinner
menu. You'll have a tough time making up your mind with the variety offered
here- so check out their online menu ahead of time if you like.
