West Whiteland Township - Exton is located in West Whiteland Township in Chester County , Pennsylvania. The township building is currently at 222 North Pottstown Pike but a new facility is under construction on Commerce Drive near the MainStreet at Exton shopping area. Their website is very informative and includes an activities calendar, a listing of boards and commissions and their meeting times, links to police, fire, parks and recreation. County of Chester - The county seat is West Chester, Pennsylvania. Many government offices are located downtown in the vicinity of 2 N High Street, West Chester. The current courthouse building was designed by Thomas U.Walter. This Greek Revival building is very impressive and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
